SUMMARY:12/13\, 12/14\, 12/15: Santa Express
DESCRIPTION:Santa ExpressFriday\, December 13 | 9:45A\nSaturday\, December 14 | 9:15A & 11:15A\nSunday\, December 15 | 9:15A & 11:15A Cost for the event is $24/person. Everyone needs a ticket unless under 1 year old. \nJoin DuPage County Historical Museum for a special train ride departing from Wheaton Train Station. Pose with Santa for some photos as he travels from one family to the next to find out what they want for Christmas. Music is played and a story is read. Goodie bags and snacks are handed out at check-in for the ride. For more information\, call 630-510-4941 or email dupagemuseum@wheatonparks.org. All times to be confirmed by Metra and are subject to change. \nTickets are limited and will be available on Wednesday\, October 9 at 8A.\nPlease note that this event sells out in minutes. \nSanta Express Explorers Club Presale – SOLD OUT\nThe Santa Express Explorers Club Presale has reached the maximum number of tickets reserved and is now SOLD OUT. Santa Express tickets will go on sale on Wednesday\, October 9 at 8:00A. Please note that tickets sell out in minutes. \n\n\n\n\n\nTrain\nDay\nDate\nTime\nTickets\n\n\n\n\n1\nFri\nDecember 13\n9:45A\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n2\nSat\nDecember 14\n9:15A\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n3\nSat\nDecember 14\n11:15A\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n4\nSun\nDecember 15\n9:15A\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n5\nSun\nDecember 15\n11:15A\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nAre there tips for purchasing tickets? \nBe ready a few minutes before 8A and on the Museum’s website or Eventbrite website where tickets are purchased. Click on the link at 8A and refresh often right at 8A to have the best chance. Tickets sell out in minutes due to the popularity of the event and the fewer offerings of similar events throughout the Chicagoland area in the past few years (Metra is NOT offering their Polar Express ride this year\, this will increase demand for the Santa Express). If you already have an Eventbrite login\, please be logged in to increase the chances of the software auto-fill on some of the questions. We need to know the ages of the children and any allergies\, but if that changes or you forget to enter it\, you can email that to us. You do have 15 minutes to fill out the information\, during which time the tickets you requested will be held for you. \nPlease remember to be kind to staff\, we are all trying to make your family’s Christmas event a success. We do not have control over the demand for the event or Metra’s policies. \nCan I get more tickets if I bought the wrong number? \nUnfortunately\, requests for more tickets cannot be honored due to the capacity restrictions of Metra. Safety is our number one priority and we will adhere to all of Metra’s safety standards including capacity restrictions. \nWill my infant child need a ticket? \nChildren under 12 months old do not need a ticket. Those under 12 months old will not get a goodie bag unless a ticket is purchased. Infants must be listed during registration—capacity limits are in place with Metra and all people must be accounted for onboard. \nAre there refunds? \nThere are not refunds but tickets are transferrable. If you transfer tickets to another family\, please let Michelle Podkowa know immediately at: mpodkowa@wheatonparks.org. \nMy child/I have allergies\, will the cookies have allergens? \nSpecial cookies will be purchased for those who have allergies. Allergies must be listed when purchasing tickets. Please reach out to Michelle Podkowa at mpodkowa@wheatonparks.org with questions. \nWhere do we meet? \nAll participants meet at the Wheaton Train Station (402 W Front Street) on the South side of the tracks. Please check in at the time for your train listed above. \nWhere should we park? \nStreet parking will be available on Liberty and Front Streets. Be sure to obey all laws and posted signs. \nThere is also a parking garage on Front Street between Hale and Wheaton Avenue (north of the tracks). Do not park at the private parking garages\, these are permit-only parking and cars will be towed. \nSponsored by:
