Dressing History: Fashion, Culture, and Society from the 1930s to the 1990s

January 14 | 7-8P | DuPage County Historical Museum (102 E. Wesley St.)

This illustrated program explores how fashion from the 1930s through the 1990s reflected changing social values, cultural movements, and evolving ideas of elegance. Drawing on stories and examples from our collection of more than 590 authentic garments, Artem Silivannikov from the Retro Luxe Museum Company will highlight influential designers, distinctive period styles, and the importance of preserving fashion as part of our shared cultural history.
