A Day in the Life of a Tanker

U.S. Army Armor Officer (retired) Major Steve Fixler, who spent 25 years in the Army as a tanker, will not only explain how he lived on a tank, but also how tankers lived on their tanks from WWI to the present. Attendees will learn how tankers fought and operated in wide open land, forests, jungles, deserts and even mountains. See what uniforms they wore in 100-degree heat and 0-degree cold. Steve will also show authentic tanker uniforms from WWI, WWII and the present.
