Smashed: A Look at DuPage County’s Worst Train Wrecks at DCHS’s Annual Meeting

October 24 | 1-3P | DuPage County Historical Museum | Free

Join the DuPage County Historical Society for its annual meeting. Immediately following, historian Bob Goldsborough will take a look at some of the worst train wrecks to take place in DuPage since the railroads were built. Located just west of America’s railroad capital, DuPage is traversed by no small number of railroad lines. Some wrecks were very tragic, while others were simply disruptive. But they all involved plenty of wreckage. Join us for a look back at the county’s highest-profile rail collisions and derailments.
