Explorer’s Club members get an extra hour with the train!

The HO Scale Model Train is operated by the DuPage Society of Model Engineers on the third and fifth Saturday of each month. The detailed layout covers more than 2,000 feet of track and highlights some of the county’s railroads and landmarks in a landscape full of surprises.

Admission to the DuPage County Historical Museum is free. Donations are greatly appreciated to help create new exhibits and keep our facility open and operating. A suggested donation amount for adults is $5 and $2 for children and seniors.

PHOTO and VIDEO RELEASE: DuPage County Historical Museum, a facility of the Wheaton Park District, its partners, approved volunteers and vendors may take photographs or videos of participants for promoting our programs, services, events, activities, and facility in our brochures, website or agency social media, etc. By participating in or attending any Wheaton Park District activities the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) agrees to the use and distribution of his or her image (or images of a minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such activities for any purpose without inspection, compensation, or any other consideration now and in the future.
