We Were There Too: Women in Vietnam

October 2 | 7-8P | Museum Auditorium | FREE

Approximately 11,000 military women were stationed in Vietnam. In addition to military women, an unknown number of civilian women served in Vietnam as members of the International Red Cross, United Service Organization (USO), and other humanitarian organizations. Ninety percent of these women were nurses, serving dangerously close to the front lines, and many others filled critical supporting roles, but all of them were volunteers.
